Treatment Philosophy

Tyree utilizes several unique approaches in his work with individuals aged 16 – 55. Some of Tyree’s principles during treatment are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Trauma-informed therapy, and Attachment Theory. Tyree’s approach to counseling allows the client to feel welcome while providing a positive experience when working with clients who are undergoing stages of anxiety, depression, or different forms of trauma.

Professional Experience

Tyree started his career in psychotherapy by providing counseling services while interning at a substance abuse treatment facility in Southern California. Tyree would go on and work with a diverse population of individuals who had a history of anxiety, depression, and trauma.

Personal Life

Tyree enjoys spending time with his wife and children during his free time. As part of Tyree’s self-care, he spends his time playing video games, taking photos on his professional camera, and watching sports, his favorite teams are the San Diego Padres, Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Chargers, and USC.
