Jeremy Krevat is dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and families achieve emotional well-being and discover their best selves. Jeremy brings warmth, empathy, and deep commitment to every session.

Jeremy works with people at every stage of life, from teenagers navigating adolescence to adults embracing retirement. He welcomes diverse relationship styles, including traditional and alternative, fostering a judgment-free environment where clients can feel safe and valued. Jeremy has experience supporting clients dealing with trauma, neurodivergence, anxiety, depression, grief, and those who are caring for loved ones with life-threatening health conditions.

His approach is client-focused, meeting individuals exactly where they are in the moment, whether that involves shared laughter or a quiet space for reflection. Jeremy draws from a range of therapeutic techniques, including Emotionally-Focused Therapy for trauma, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, psychodynamic principles, and specialized modalities like Gottman and Imago relationship therapy for couples.

Professional Experience

Before pursuing therapy, Jeremy devoted more than 15 years to educational leadership and advocacy. He worked extensively with high school students with special needs, serving as a senior advisor to assist their transition into college or vocational pathways. Additionally, Jeremy championed student equity and social justice as an elementary school leader, shaping culturally responsive classrooms.

Jeremy has also led workshops on Social Emotional Learning for students and parents, written individualized treatment plans with accommodations across all grade levels, and supported families in navigating mental health diagnoses. Before joining the Capricorn Counseling Center, Jeremy provided accessible therapy to a diverse population through a non-profit organization in California, with a focus on making mental health resources affordable and inclusive.

Personal Life

Outside the therapy room, Jeremy thrives on connection and creativity. An avid traveler, he loves exploring new countries and cities with his partner—and their dogs, when possible. Jeremy is a passionate foodie who enjoys both cooking and discovering new culinary experiences. His love of comedy has led him to participate in improv theater in several cities where he’s lived. In addition, Jeremy co-wrote a memoir with his partner, documenting her harrowing journey with a rare autoimmune disease.

With compassion, depth, and a wealth of experience, Jeremy is ready to guide his clients toward healing and fulfillment.
