Treatment Philosophy

Fiorella utilizes an emotion focused, attachment-based, and somatic approach in her work with individual, couples, and families. She draws on principles from holistic, evidenced-based modalities, including the Gottman Method, MEND model, and neuroception to support clients achieve positive change.

Fiorella specializes in marital and premarital counseling, relationship issues, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, stress, life transitions. Fiorella is certified in the Gottman Method Level I (a couple’s therapy approach), the MEND model (a family systems-oriented model), as well as certified in the SYMBIS Assessment (for premarital couples), all which have equipped her to better serve her clients.

Fiorella is a huge believer in viewing health as a whole and therefore uses a holistic therapy approach that welcomes and gives attention to all parts of you. She helps people get to the heart of those issues that are not letting them live the life they always wanted to live.

Professional Experience

Fiorella began her clinical training at Loma Linda University Health where she worked with a diverse client population of individuals dealing with chronic illnesses and their families. Previously, Fiorella worked as a mental health nurse. Her nursing background has allowed her to better understand the connections between physical and emotional health.

Fiorella is bilingual English/Spanish and can provide therapeutic services in both languages.

Personal Life

Fiorella loves hiking, traveling, being outdoors, and exploring new places with her husband and dog whenever she gets a chance.
