Treatment Philosophy
David takes a creative, mindfulness-based approach to therapy, integrating his background as an artist and practicing Buddhist to guide clients through emotional, psychological, and situational challenges. As an LGBTQIA+ ally and supporter of the Neurodivergent community, he is committed to fostering an inclusive, compassionate space for all individuals.
David offers a holistic and integrated approach to therapy, drawing from a range of techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Gestalt Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). His work is rooted in mindful compassion, authenticity, and curiosity, while also providing research-based interventions and insights to support each client’s growth and well-being.
David works with individuals and couples with a particular focus on working with artists, writers, musicians, and other creatives – especially those in their late teens, 20s, and 30s – David helps clients navigate a wide range of issues, including anxiety, ADHD, self-esteem, shame, guilt, emotional regulation, and spiritual growth. He helps to cultivate self-awareness, and a deeper mind-body connection. He specializes in supporting individuals through life transitions, relationship complexities, career challenges, and personal growth.

Professional Experience
David has a background working in both a clinical setting and in private practice. His experience working with individuals in the creative fields, including artists, writers, and musicians, helping them navigate the unique challenges of their professions. He also has experience supporting clients through life transitions, relationship issues, and emotional well-being.
Personal Life
Outside of therapy, David enjoys creative expression through his own artwork and values mindfulness practices that support his well-being. He also enjoys exploring new experiences traveling, visiting art galleries, hiking, camping, reading, journaling, and connecting with friends. David owns two cats, Marcy and Forest.
