Treatment Philosophy
Alexus employs a person-centered, strengths-based collaborative approach when working with children, adolescents, adults, and couples. She is certified in the Gottman Method Level I for couples therapy and Dr. Sue Johnson’s Emotionally-Focused Therapy, which emphasizes attachment-based interventions for couples in crisis.
She creates a safe space to explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors – free of judgment. Alexus specializes in anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and life transitions. You will uncover patterns, build resilience, and develop strategies to help you achieve your personal goals and improve your overall well-being.

Professional Experience
Alexus began her clinical experience at Pacific Lifeline where she worked with a diverse population dealing with substance use disorder, homelessness, trauma, grief and loss, interpersonal relationship violence, chronic illnesses, anxiety, and depression. She facilitated individual, couple, family, and group therapy sessions teaching coping skills and providing psychoeducation.
Personal Life
Alexus likes to spend her free time reading, adventuring with her family, and exercising. She loves to ground herself through hiking and yoga meditations. She considers herself a “Foodie” because she loves trying new types of food with her friends.
