Treatment Philosophy
Sam uses a compassionate and holistic relational approach in her work with individuals, couples, and families. She works to balance her clients’ the strengths and life experiences to create a realistic path to reach their individual and relationship goals drawing from evidence-based modalities like Narrative Therapy, EFT, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy.
Through collaborative exploration and evidence-based interventions, Sam supports clients for coping, adaptation, and maintaining a sense of well-being, meeting clients where they are at to help them develop strategies to manage and overcome their current challenges and build confidence, vulnerability, and resilience.

M.A. in Psychology and Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Massachusetts, Global (2023)
B.A. in Psychology from Brandman University (2020)
Professional Experience
Sam began her clinical training in Denver, Colorado, working at a youth residential treatment center, and later providing psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families working through a variety of challenges including anxiety, depression, communication, grief and bereavement, infidelity, and trauma. Sam also has experience and a passion for working with people affected by chronic illness, disability, and faith transitions.
Personal Life
Sam enjoys seeing live music, riding motorcycles with her husband, and spending time with her friends and family. She also enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and two dogs and exploring new coffee shops around Southern California.
